I left California for the third time in my career on a beautiful clear night, and as we flew over the Golden Gate Bridge, my seat mate kindly took this photo. I had spent that last two weeks moving out of my apartment, selling my beloved Mini Cooper, and preparing for this new adventure. It really isn’t in my nature to be in one place for too long, and I felt honored to be sent to Ireland. I have been traveling to Ireland every couple of months for the past couple of years, designing and overseeing this new EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Asia) headquarters for Workday. I have one year to get this project built and relocate my Workmates into this state-of-the-art office.
Fun Fact: The building we are moving into is actually the tallest inhabitable building in Ireland AND the largest office fit out in Europe currently.
